Patient ID XPress™ System
Patient ID XPress™ system provides you the ability to print patient
identification labels
or wristbands instantly anywhere in your facility. Our
"On-Demand" label system allows end-users to print any number of
labels when, and more importantly, where you need
them. Patient ID XPress™ is a flexible, portable labeling
system that prints clear, legible patient identification labels. Patient ID XPress ™ produces labels with or without barcodes for
additional identification and tracking. Replaces or enhances the
functionality of embossed patient cards.
Our
unique and patented use of PDF 417 barcode technology uses
your existing patient information data stream to print a single
patient label that is then used to produce 1 or more labels and
wristbands anywhere they are needed. This system operates off-line
and is independent of your mainframe systems.

The Patient ID
Xpress solution provides a plug and play replacement solution to
current embossed card infrastructure. The system will allow for the
current embossers to be replaced with Data Capture Stations and the
imprinters to be replaced with stand-alone label and/or wristband
stations.
Since all data
used to generate the labels and wristbands is obtained from the
patient master label satellite label or wristband stations can be
added anywhere even off site. This is due to the independent
operation of the label and wristband stations which require no
network interface. The system is expandable and additional stations
can be added at any time.
Using the
keyboard entry feature master labels can be produced even if the
network connection is down or unavailable. Since the label and
wristband stations are completely independent of the network they
will always be available regardless of network status.
