CIM Inserter 3000 Card Mailing System

The I3000 card mailing system has been developed to provide customers with a reliable cost effective card mailing solution.  The I3000 is a flexible solution that allows users to attach cards to a paper carrier, insert the carrier into an envelope and even add additional inserts in the envelope if required. 

• Magnetic stripe/smart card/ barcode/ OCR reading stations available

• The system uses a printed barcode to match the card card to the custom printed card carrier

• Two different enveloping option are available: Mailer or Maximailer

• The Inserter 3000 can be connected inline with the E1000/E2000, T1000/T2000 or Combi 1000 card personalization systems to provide a complete end to end solution for personalization and fulfillment.

The Inserter 3000 is the ideal solution for card affixing and mailing. The system can be operated stand alone or inline with the complete line of Pro-Series card personalization equipment. The system comes standard with the security of barcode card to carrier verification. This means that every card and carrier are read and matched to each other making sure the correct card is affixed to the correct carrier. The verification of the card can be performed by reading a barcode, magnetic stripe, smartcard or printed text on the card by using the available OCR reader. The carrier is verified by reading a barcode printed on the carrier by the systems laser printer. Once the card is read and verified to the carrier the system affixes the card to the carrier. The card and carrier then travels into he folder where the card/carrier package is folded in preparation for being inserted into the envelope. Once the package is folded it is ether inserted into the envelope or if additional inserts are needed it moves to a collation area where additional inserts are added before the package is inserted into the envelope. Once all items have been inserted into the envelope the system can stack the envelopes or seal them closed and then stack them. With the Inserter 3000 and its options CIM truly offers a turnkey solutions for card personalization and mailing.
